terraXcube Meets Medical Research – Scientific Opening – 5 April 2019

Innovation in mountain medicine research – from simulation to real-life application. Burning questions and new possibilities

On 5 April 2019 Eurac Research will, alongside the ICAR MEDCOM meeting, officially open the newest of their research facilities to the scientific community, the terraXcube. Our intention is to focus on pertinent methodological issues surrounding reproducible research and future perspectives in the field of Mountain Emergency and High Altitude Medicine.

We have outlined a programme that is envisaged to enable in-depth discussion of current open research questions specific to both emergency medicine in challenging environmental conditions, as well as physiological considerations at high altitude.

The event is free of charge and open to all. For organizational reasons we would kindly ask you to REGISTER HERE.
